When SPX asked SmartShape to help design its family of EV chargers, we developed a versatile modular system that would fit most wall-mount and bollard installations. Vandalism-resistant rugged durability, ease of installation and maintenance, convenient cord management, intuitive user interface, and clean brand language design were some of the key design objectives. Starting with user research we developed concepts to manufacture-ready designs.
