Greg joined the SmartShape team in early 2016 and has over 8 years of experience in product lifecycle development both as an engineer and as project manager. Greg started his career in medical device design, developing MRI peripheral equipment for GE, Toshiba Medical Systems, and Siemens. Greg is an expert in Solidworks CAD and experienced with a variety of other CAD platforms. Combined with his strong technical expertise in engineering, Greg also has a deep background in manufacturing methods and design for manufacture (injection and compression molding, die casting, stamping, sheet metal fabrication, etc.) as well as extensive experience working with and managing Asian manufacturing partners.

Alongside acting as a senior engineering contributor at SmartShape, Greg also manages client projects and acts as a point person for client contact at SmartShape. He focuses on driving value and results in development projects and is responsible for aligning resources and schedule to meet client needs.

Greg has both a BSE in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from Case Western Reserve University and has a variety of project management and software certifications. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Beta Gamma Sigma.
