Doug is a multi-disciplinary designer with experience working across dynamic industries including medical and consumer at both large corporations and small consultancies. His expertise allows him to design insight-driven solutions for clients that are focused on end-user experience. Doug has a particularly keen interest in the holistic design approach and enjoys creating designs that both enhance and elevate brands

Doug is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. in Industrial & Product Design.

Outside the SmartShape studio, Doug can often be found at a local animal shelter, dedicating time with animals in need of their forever homes. He enjoys pursuing personal projects as a creative outlet, from consumer electronics, to toys and branding. Doug is a tri-athlete and has completed several IRONMAN 70.3 and IRONMAN races.
