Daniel manages prototype development and sourcing for overseas partners. A part of the SmartShape team for over 10 years, Daniel helps manage various vendors and sourcing partners to provide a range of prototype options to our clients.

Educated and trained in product design and engineering, Daniel has a broad knowledge of product development, prototyping, mechanical engineering, Q&A, and manufacturing.

While he's a tough negotiator when dealing with SmartShape's vendors, Daniel has a real soft spot...for squirrels! When visiting his colleagues in Cleveland, Daniel enjoys feeding the city squirrels that live near the design studio.
