Midea came to SmartShape looking to gain insight into the U.S. microwave market, and develop a product with a fresh look and feel.

The challenge was to build a recognizable brand that wasn’t just a fit for the existing American market—but one that would stand out in the crowd.

SmartShape’s team of designers incorporated current visual trends into the styling, producing concepts that showed clean, geometric and intuitive interface configurations.
