SmartShape CEO Mike Maczuzak Selected as a Judge for The Medical Capital Innovation Competition
In a two-day event, held April 25 and 26 at the HIMSS Innovation Center at The Global Center for Health Innovation, 27 teams with the best ideas for using big data to solve critical healthcare challenges will compete for $100,000 in prizes, mentoring and access to industry collaborators and customers to support their work and vision (including SmartShape Design).
Contestants' work will be judged by industry leaders, including representatives from Google Brain — Healthcare, BioEnterprise, The MetroHealth System, University Hospitals, IBM Watson, Onix Networking, Cleveland Clinic Innovations, Viable Synergy, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh UPMC, ARcare/KentuckyCare, Sparrow Health Systems, Cleveland State University, Insivia, nuboHEALTH, Youngstown Business Incubator, and SmartShape Design CEO Mike Maczuzak.
Mike will serve as a judge in the open professional team division, critiquing each entry's commercial viability, technical viability and financial viability.
